Who Are We?

About Us

Indigenous Horizons is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering tribal youth through mentorship, recreation, cultural engagement, and leadership development. Our mission is to provide safe, positive, and supportive environments where Indigenous youth can build confidence, strengthen community connections, and develop the skills necessary to succeed both personally and academically.

We believe that every young person deserves access to opportunities that encourage growth, creativity, teamwork, and belonging. By offering structured programs such as organized sports, tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), trading card games (TCGs), mentorship initiatives, leadership workshops, and cultural activities, we create meaningful alternatives to gang involvement, violence, substance abuse, and other high-risk behaviors.

Our programs are designed to foster resilience, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships while reinforcing the importance of cultural identity and community values. Through collaboration with families, schools, tribal departments, mentors, and community partners, we strive to create lasting positive impact for the next generation of Indigenous leaders.

At Indigenous Horizons, we recognize that prevention begins with opportunity, mentorship, and connection. Our goal is not only to provide recreational activities, but to help youth discover purpose, leadership, and a sense of belonging within their communities.

Together, we are building stronger futures, safer communities, and pathways to success for tribal youth.
